this is what i've been saying. swerfs play a MASSIVE role in what's going on here, but so does the "you do fandom in an icky way" discourse. it enables fascists to capitalize by propagandizing their viewpoints as ones that self-proclaimed progressives tend to agree with.
In a lot of ways other leftists chose this path folks. They shrugged and didn’t care when Patreon banned a ton of hypnosis and TF creators, or when YouTube started their ASMR crackdown. Now it’s coming for queer porn creators, more and more. Who will stand up?

My tablet was dead so i ended up doing some website coding. Always feel weird about saying its fun bc i mean, its mostly just writing copy and checking links, but it is a kind of fun. Not anywhere close to next site update tho, gonna have to hang tight for that one

I know this sounds like and inscrutable question but so far most of my prose writing has been for myself and trying to write down my feelings to the point im not sure how to translate that to like. fiction. that someone else could read.

I want Senator [NAME] to know I'm furious with the outcome of last night's vote to end the shutdown. I'm fully aware that they voted No - but Sentator [NAME] needs to know their constituents aren't stupid or gullible. It's clear that this was a decision made by the party caucus, led by Schumer, regarding who voted what way.
I'm disgusted with these antics and sick of hearing individual Senators' mealy-mouthed objections after the fact.
Put simply, I don't believe [Senator's] No vote. I don't believe they were against ending the shutdown. If they want to earn back my trust and prove to me that their vote was actually sincere, the SINGULAR way they can do that is to to call for Schumer to step down immediately.
