I’m convinced the “do audiobooks count as reading?” argument all derives from those mid-90s summer reading pizza challenges.

Folks - we’re all in our 30s and 40s now. It’s no longer a competition.

Go buy your favorite pie with your adult money and let people enjoy books however they want.
Department of War?

I prefer Department of Ds.

If your dog stretches and you don’t say “Oh Big Stretch!” then you belong in prison.

Sorry kids, billionaires may be getting tax cuts in this administration but your Halloween candy sure isn’t.

Did some preworkout this morning and warmed up on the treadmill. Now it feels like my skin is on fire.

Being gone for four months really made me forget how many more calories I consume simply from hoovering up the food my kids don’t eat.

Not working Friday and today was so much better than working would have been.

I need to take more vacation days.

The best part about walking around NYC is you can unleash the nastiest farts imaginable and the people on the sidewalk around you will neither hear nor smell the evidence.

I need a job where I can work remote one day a week just to keep up with the laundry.

I love paying more now for coffee - literally a life source more important to my body than water - NOT because there is a supply side shortage, but simply because SOMEBODY thinks blanket tariffs are some sort of free money hack.

The Aiden Hutchinson US Army commercial is some of the worst advertising I’ve ever seen.

What are we doing here? This won’t make anyone want to join.

Just bring back the 80s jingle you cowards.

The local library had a book sale and had these boxes to take your books home 🤣

After four days off I simply never want to go back to work again.

My kids are playing school and are reenacting a lockdown drill.

Not in a traumatized way just in a playtime way, like if they were play acting a field trip or school play.

Broken ass society we live in.

The government shutdown and this whole not getting paid thing is really putting a damper on my plans to buy a new car for the first time in 8 years after I get home from the border.

Being thanked for my service by a nice old lady in the hotel lobby during my final days “deployed” to the southern border sure is something.

One episode in and I’m loving Chad Powers.

Don’t fret the the Troops™️ might not get paid during an extended shutdown - they won’t go hungry.

Though after yesterday maybe they should go hungry.

Can we go one day without this country embarrassing itself?

If I’ve learned one thing in my military career it’s that you can grind through anything with sheer stubbornness and copious amounts of caffeine.

There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think “wow, the internet is a mistake.”

No, you move.
