Clifton buzzing with birds this morning. A ruddy shelduck with 30 Egyptian geese in a field between the main pit and the Severn. 70+ Pintail, plus all the usual wildfowl.

A brief potter round CLP, good to meet Paul. Understand this BHG ringed in Poland.

I saw 3 swallows at Lossiemouth, Highlands on Thursday, 7th Nov!!

Nice to see a Noctule Bat flying over CLP Grimley this evening.

Fields on east side of CLP, a nice feeding flock, reed, willow, chiffchaff, blackcap and whitethroat warblers. Also a smart juv redstart.
