45 years ago today, these devout women were martyred by minions of the US-backed regime in El Salvador because they reminded the poor that Jesus hadn't abandoned them. Never forget. 🙏
On 2 December 1980, four Catholic missionaries from the United States working in El Salvador were raped and murdered by five members of the El Salvador National Guard.

They were Maryknoll Sisters Maura Clarke and Ita Ford, Cleveland Ursuline Sister Dorothy Kazel, and lay missionary Jean Donovan.

Good morning. Servicemembers are legally and morally obligated to disobey manifestly unlawful orders. Acquaint yourselves with UCMJ Article 92 and your Oath of Enlistment, which has no expiration date, and you are obligated, by law and honor, to uphold.

That is all. Carry on.

Fun Fact: The first Thanksgiving in America was celebrated by Spanish explorers led by Pedro Menéndez de Avilés in St. Augustine, FL, on Sept 8, 1565, and included a Catholic Mass, led by Father Francisco López de Mendoza Grajales. A meal was shared with the local Timucua tribe.

Capt Kelly did nothing more than remind servicemembers that we are not legally and morally obligated to obey manifestly unlawful orders. You know, like being ordered to shoot peaceful protesters, for example.
I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

Had this 👇 order been given, it would have been manifestly unlawful, and servicemembers would have been legally and morally obligated to disobey it.

Today, Catholics celebrate the Feast of Christ the King. 🙏 The sovereign ruler of the Kingdom of Heaven as well as existence itself. To put constraints on God's omnipotence is folly. It's beyond human understanding. We're called to serve; not conprehend the intricacies of His divine plan.

It appears that Musk and his team made a "quick course-correction based on user feedback." The automatic translation feature for Hebrew posts on X is no longer disabled. Thank you to everyone who spoke up.
November 19, 2025 at 9:08 AM
The automatic translation feature for posts in Hebrew on X was recently disabled without notification because more than a few Israelis have openly expressed views that can best be described as abhorrent, and Musk doesn't want anyone with even a modicum of morality to call it out.

Dr. Hahn is correct. Zionism is a modern political movement; not a required religious tenet of Judaism or Christianity. "Embracing zionism" isn't a requisite for Catholics. Many Jews claim that  zionism is an integral part of THEIR faith, but that has nothing to do with us.

As I predicted on Saturday, the Holy Father formalized what Papa Francisco 🌹 said in 2021. For me, that's when the matter was settled. There is only one Redeemer, and it was His sacrifice on the cross that redeemed the faithful.
November 5, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Papa Francisco 🙏 made his position clear about the Co-Redemptrix title, and I'll be very surprised if the Holy Father doesn't share his view. The Church will formally put the matter to rest on November 4. There is only one Redeemer, and he is Jesus, our Lord and Savior. 🙏 1/2

The haughty and self-righteous Pharisee praised himself and declared that he was better than the supposedly lowly tax collector, who mournfully acknowledged his weakness and proclivity for sin. God's word is clear: Those who exalt themselves will be humbled. 🙏
