Putting aside all the horrible shit in them: I cannot believe the global elite composes emails like fucking horses who somehow learned to crudely type. My emails read like Shakespeare compared to the lowercased, unpunctuated screeds written to the worlds biggest pedophile. Fucking write like adults!

Saying “reading books in public is performative” is a very quick and simple way to communicate to me that you are a stupid little pig I do not need to listen to and in that sense I appreciate it

If only there were some Hollywood trend of resetting franchises, starting from scratch, as if booting up a computer again.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

my new AI powered lamp is trained on millions of lamp interactions so it understands that 50% of chain pulls are to turn it on and the other 50% are to turn it off. and honestly, it's a little spooky how it knows exactly what i want almost half of the time

I agree with this but would settle for "you have to go someplace that sucks to do it." If you want to do some stupid six-leg parlay you should have to say it aloud to a person through a little microphone at an OTB that's lit like the MTA offices in the original Taking Of Pelham 123.

I do think sports betting should be legal, but you should have to place bets in person with someone you are afraid will physically harm you if you don't pay up.

This is what the depressed detective in a sci-fi noir movie does right before he plays a solo round of Russian Roulette.

What’s telling to me in these screenshots is that both tweets are using pop biology to launder their opinions as objective fact. Like actually everyone else are the weirdos for thinking someone is hot despite their obviously inferior skull shape.
Something I find very funny is people periodically talking about how Sabrina Carpenter "isn't hot to men", as if heterosexual male fans are the audience her career depends on. I thought we had all understood 'women mostly dress up for themselves, or for women' but looks like we've forgotten again.

If I had a nickel for every excellent 2025 movie featuring Emma Stone in a story about a man being driven to self-destruction by Internet conspiracy theories, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

a lot of people are quoting this and saying things like “standing up for trans rights is a winning political strategy” and while I agree with this, win or lose standing up for trans rights is important - no, vital - because it’s the right thing to do.
