Ok Cave Caucus, since you have a plan, how should I proceed with choosing a health plan by 12/15?

If I stick with my current plan, it will either cost me $300 or $1300 in Jan. But I won’t know which price until your magic beans vote? I can’t pay even one month at that price.

Pls advise.

Can we install a new minority leader before this mess is voted on?

I’ll lose my health care but maintain my right to marry.

That’s a win?

If you’re pissed, call.
(This is not the time for email, and I’m a regular emailer.)
Enough is enough. Contact your Democratic senators TODAY and tell them to call for Senator Schumer to step aside as Minority Leader. We desperately need new leadership in the Democratic Party.

Donald Trump’s approval rating has tanked and Republican suffered heavy losses in last week’s elections. There’s never been a better time for Senate Democrats to cave on the ACA extension.

So, what’s the plan for removing Schumer and forcing the cave caucus to step down?

Weakness is dangerous during this time.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

So the magic beans, I mean “vote” is supposed to happen in 40 days, but I have to choose a health plan by Dec 15th.

I can’t afford even one month of the full cost of my current health plan, so how is this supposed to work?

That’s what I’ll all be asking all of the cave caucus members this am.

Sanders: Let’s be clear… If this vote succeeds, over 20 million Americans are going to see at least a doubling in their premiums… if resolution is passed tonight, we are on a path way to throw 15 million Americans off of medicaid and the affordable care act, 15 million.

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

I just did an internet search for “Trump falls asleep in Oval Office” and found a couple stories from small left-leaning outlets and some foreign press.

Major American corporate media outlets or local news? Not so much.

basically every 2024 truism is dead. Trump did not build a lasting multiracial coalition or turn young men into committed Republicans. You don’t need to cave on trans rights to win. The pundits have nothing left to tell you.

This would be a great time for journalists to get off twitter and start talking with real people. (Not just farmers or red voters in diners.)

Y’all are divorced from reality over there.

Now’s a great time to call your senators and reps and urge them to fully restore health care and reopen the government.

Health care should be fully restored without condition.

#woke2 means health care for all.
