Just had a 3 course meal including a wine and beer for £24 in Spain. I paid by mistake on my UK bank card so I know the cost. That's for 2 people and the food was excellent! You couldn't eat for that cost for one person in the UK!

Finally getting my 40 year long badge for working in the NHS. Actually just over 41 years. Nearly 5 years after retirement. Working in France and Nigeria for the NHS too.

I can't believe we visited an Italian restaurant that has no Prosecco. In fact it had no sparkling wine. Not even Cava , being Spain. Tipicano Italian restaurant in Villaricos Spain.

Palomares, Spain. The cemetery is well kept and tidy . Interestingly there are no burials in the ground. There are lots of photos of the deceased too, going back to the 1950s.
