SCOOP (free, as it's FOIA-based!): I obtained 1,665 pgs of documents about "Bicken Ben," a growing private school the Zuckerbergs ran illegally out of their Palo Alto compound

Neighbors complained the school for years. Then, in 2024, they reached their breaking point:

Mark Zuckerberg Opened an Illegal School at His Palo Alto Compound. His Neighbors Revolted
Neighbors complained about noise, security guards, and hordes of traffic. An unlicensed school named after the Zuckerbergs’ pet chicken tipped them over the edge.

This could get interesting as the Harvard-grad Theil realizes how much teens don't know but think they know. He may not want people who actually know better questioning his methods, but just ask the military how much high-school-graduates can be trusted.

And, wasn't the AI supposed to take over? 🤔

They were non-profit while they scraped data, because nobody would allow them free access to their data otherwise.

This is also assuming they will ever make a profit, because it all still costs more money than it brings in, and it is questionable if GPT "AI" will ever be profitable.
TL;DR: OpenAI has transitioned to a for-profit corporation, allowing it to raise capital and monetize its AI technology, following approval from Delaware's attorney general after a complex legal process.

They really think they can outrun the problems they are creating.

Their islands without other people are not going to be places they actually want to live.

A smart prepper would invest in communities, not hide from them.

I remember going weeks without thinking about Obama. Every day with this one is some new horror.

Who could ever have seen it coming.

Remember when he called it "Agenda 47" for a bit? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agenda_47 Because we know he can't help but put his name on anything and everything.

Thiel argues that fearing or regulating technological progress (including AI), rather than responsibly guiding it, risks accelerating a path toward a one-world, totalitarian solution (which he framed as an “Antichrist” outcome).

And who does he expect to "guide" while not being a totalitarian? 🤔

Kennedy would rather make dangerous choices than acknowledge he doesn't know enough about human health conditions.

He would prefer believing medicine is so simple he could understand it, or it is so complicated only a machine could parce the data. (Don't bother explaining what the AI sources are.)

Without any ways to validate output, and combined now with AI consuming AI, can it ever get any better?

Where does all this "value" originate?
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to allow crypto as an asset to back a mortgage. What could go wrong?
