Democrats won many elections in many states last night, local and statewide ballot issues also. Don't believe you can rest on your laurels. If the trend is to continue then so is the effort. Those in power are going to after everyone who spoiled their plans. DON'T REST,KEEP UP THE RESISTANCE.

I'm not a political pundit, just an observer of the mess we are in. My belief, is that the democrats focus too much time on Frump, although he has earned all the criticism. With the shutdown they are focusing energy on health care and that is a cause that can unite support behind them.

Where is my country headed? We don't discuss, we accuse. Listening is becoming a lost art. We used to be able to voice our opinion, now it can put you in jail or being accused as a terrorist. Saying you disagree with the president was our right, now you could find yourself being threatened.

In 1937 Germany, to disagree with the leader usually meant a death sentence. So, I guess just being fired is an improvement.

Short story. I have a black lab (rescue) who I think is almost human. Listening to all the Sunday morning political shows with me, she came over to my chair and sat down and stared. Then she looked at th TV and went into the bedroom and laid down as if she had heard enough. Pretty smart, huh!

I wish Frump to be gone, but not by having an epidemic that could have been prevented by proper use of vaccines. This country needs competency in all areas of government and especially in health. Do we really want another recession caused by RFK and the guy that hired him?

I remember when congress listened to the President but did not blindly obey every utterance. We used to have two parties and now we have one party (Dems) and one person and his underlings. Where did we go wrong to let this happen? Its more than the millions who did not vote. We are ill.

Todays news feed said that every state will lose at least one rural hospital because of the Medicaid cuts. Maybe we should now title the GOP as the COP (Cruel Old Party). They don't seem to care about anyone except making the rich richer and genuflecting Frump. Am I wrong?

Why is it that this administration won't put in an effort to allow a path to citizenship for those immigrants who are hardworking and have contributed Billions in taxes instead of insisting that people on legitimate assistance will go replace farm workers. Conspiracy nuts=MAGA.

Just curious, how much money did MAGA DOGE save by cutting 550 people from the NWS? Was it worth it you cowards who wouldn't stand up to Frump? And I just saw that hurricane hunter flights were reduced. That means we won't know how severe the storm is developing. Another disaster is coming!!

The man arrested for threatening Frump was identified after his posts on Bluesky. He is a former Lt. In the USCG. If you think your posts are safe, they are not. We used to have free speech and we no longer do. Be cautious.

There is always been a rumor that for Frump to achieve total control is to declare "Martial Law". Is he going to make the LA riot as a pretext for it? Sooner or later he is going to overstep his authority because he is King in his mind.

The Congressional Budget Office just said our taxes would go down and our debt would go up and 10-11 million people would lose their health coverage if the Big Beautiful Bill passes. Is this what we want as Americans? The rich people get richer, the US goes deeper in debt and Medicaid is gone.

Maybe we should save money by not prosecuting anyone who Frump likes as it is a waste of time and manpower. He will pardon a criminal conviction for anyone that donated money to him or thinks it will gain him some support with his base. Still waiting for his jail sentence.

How many of you are wondering the same thing about gas prices? The prices going up and down on a daily basis. In the last 7 days down 30 cents, up 20, up 7, down 10, up 15, down 8. I don't know where Frump gets his info but I have never seen the $1.98 a gallon he is talking about. Its $3.05 today.

Where is the voice of our next President? I hear a mixture of voices out there, but where is the one person who can stop the MAGA madness? If DNC is doing their due diligence some hope of a new future has to be leaked to us. We need someone youngish, intelligent, and dedicated to the task.

I am not an international finance person, so can anyone tell me what is Frumps impact on the value of our currency. I see not only tariffs costing us more but the value of the dollar dropping means our money buys less. Double whammy......

I heard today that the reason Frump is penalizing Harvard is because they rejected Baron's application. Purdue did also, maybe they are next for orange head's temper tantrum. Good or bad, we hae never had a President that is so petty.

You can't blame Frump for everything (Did that get your attention). White supremacists, nationalists, oligarchy, racism, ignorance, etc. led us to this point in our history. After WW2 we struggled, didn't have a lot, but we worked together (both parties) to get better. What happened?

Another cycle of Frump tanking the stock market, all the billionaires buy when stock is low. Next day there is a boom and everyone sells high and then waits for the next cycle. I mean, what's wrong with that?
