Idk what academic needs to hear this but “professionalism” is just white supremacy coded in academia (and other corporate environments) and your using that as a critique or weakness of students of color is bullshit and subtle racism.

As a #Blackademic it is very rare that I feel validated and encouraged about my research, but tonight was not one of those nights. The response to my final presentation for my ethnography class has me so excited to complete this project.
