I really cannot imagine going to all the trouble of getting elected to the Senate only to get there and decide not to stand up for healthcare, or democracy, or people’s ability to afford their lives. If those things aren’t worth fighting for, then truly what is?

Yet another good reason to get the Shingles vaccine (Shingrix in the US): it may help prevent dementia due to repeated Shingles infections. (If you’ve had chickenpox, the varicella-zoster virus hibernates in your system and can erupt into Shingles.)
