yeah, I know
"Arthas was right" vs "Arthas was wrong" discourse is infuriating. Arthas was being manipulated into making a decision that alienated him from his loved ones by playing his oath and duty against his morality and emotions. He wasn't right OR wrong, he's a victim of the situation

my game about vampires turned out to be about communism

I was gonna say "I can't believe someone made a fully voiced custom WC3 campaign with fascist undertones where humans are racist and rewarded by the narrative" but I sadly can believe it

I almost feel sorry for the Americans who believed the US was once "leading on human rights". It is so tragic; to be so misinformed and not know it
If your government thinks the Pope “doesn’t know what he’s talking about” when he defends migrants’ dignity, the world should see the warning sign. The US is no longer leading on human rights. It’s suppressing them.

Ended up on Venezuelan Twitter and couldn’t be happier about it

people complaining that you have to do 12 more runs for the new Hades 2 ending are so unserious. the game is ALL about the runs. if you play the game normally you'll get it without even noticing. what even are you complaining about

It's hard to relax when you're trying to not freak out about the US invading your country, tbh

I know Americans call themselves "the wealthiest country in the history of the world" right next to calls for action to aid the poor, and I appreciate the intention, I truly do -- but the American exceptionalism goes unaddressed and it enrages me a little bit

people equating dark skin (as in: dark brown) elf with drow is gonna be the end of me

No one cares about Venezuelans unless it's to use us as a political "gotcha" moment. Foreigners, but Americans specially, like to invoke us as a means to defend their arguments. But Venezuela is more than an off-handed reference to some sad country that people forget exists. It's not very nice

people forget witchcraft is the evocation of forces beyond the natural world. it's not an inherent power. stop making characters who are "born" witches. I will smite all of you

Honestly, I think I like Banu Haqim the best as a vampire clan. None of the uncomfortable power dynamics of Tremere with all the blood sorcery PLUS a cool justice theme. I like them

I wanna play it so bad, but I'm waiting for some of the bugs to be fixed before I try it. I just KNOW it's gonna be one of my all-time favourites too
YT Recs all have titles like: 'Is Bloodlines 2 really that bad?' and 'Bloodlines 2 is a Trainwreck'

Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to figuring out where exactly it might go in my Top 10 Favorite Games of All Time

ngl I'm tired of people throwing a fit about VTMB2 not being like the first game. we get it. can we please judge the game for what it IS and not what it is NOT
October 23, 2025 at 4:56 AM
Culture wars around VTMB2 are so funny. "Oh no my vampires are gay" ??? do you hear yourself
October 23, 2025 at 3:08 AM
the negative reception to VTMB2 seems to boil down to "it's not like the first game", which is fine, it really shouldn't be called "Bloodlines". but the positive reception seems to spouse the idea of "it's a good game for what it is. not great, not bad", which I'm leaning towards

I would like Americans to understand that 200 years is not a very long time at all. In historical terms, that's half a blink. Saying "for the first time in 200 years" is nowhere near as impressive as they think it is

I am always surprised by the disconnect between a reviewer's experience and mine when I consume media. I think reviewers are incentivised to have strong opinions and impressions, leading them to write polarising takes. As a result, I end up reading reviews and feeling very confused

I love how KCD went from "moderately underground game claimed by gamergate bros" to "that one game with gay knights"

A lot of people online mistake my tone for hostility or disdain. It's not; I just don't know most people I interact with online, and I maintain a healthy amount of emotional distance. I also don't like being overly friendly, as I find it fake and tedious. To my friends I'm warm, though

maybe I'm just not looking for it enough but I haven't seen The Witcher's environmentalist message being discussed much, and it's a shame

I'm very scared about the pending invasion. I don't support Maduro, and would gladly see him gone; but the violence that will come from this event scares me. The deaths, the threats, the economic downturn. I might lose power, internet access. I never thought I'd see the day, and I'm scared

I'm so excited, guys! I can't wait for the movies that will come out 10-20 years from now about how sad Americans were while invading Venezuela. A paradigm shift, a revolutionary take!

I miss playing DnD as a player, not a GM. But ever since I picked up DMing for money, I've grown a little tired -- if not annoyed -- of DnD. Idk

Hades 2 meta discussions are funny (and by funny I mean a little annoying) to me because they're talking about things like they're definitive, and sucking so much fun out of the game. "Eternity is an early game arcana and you'll switch it up later" shut up, I like my slowdown and I play how I want
