TBH, I do start to feel like the villagers in the boy who cried wolf...
Core updates are now just background noise.
Their frequency and opaqueness, especially when updates overlap and/or manual actions are handed out en masse, makes it impossible to draw meaningful conclusions from any one update.
As an industry, we need to stop giving this so much attention.

Adding GA4 tracking for AI sources often shows some traffic, even for small websites. Not huge traffic... but it is there.

So "williwaw" is one I actually knew, thanks to it being the title of Gore Vidal's first novel... an amazing debut and profoundly dark study of human nature.
Word of the morning is ‘williwaw’ (19th century): a sudden violent squall or a toppling gust of wind.
