This represents an opportunity to give more parts of Queens not directly bordering the waterfront safe connections to NYC's bike/trail network. Many of our communities would like safer routes to access our waterways, schools and businesses. A better conduit could make this happen.

Our aim is to connect riders who are new to biking in NYC with veteran riders who are comfortable riding on city streets and go on supervised, low stress rides together.
We are elated to see that Forest Hills and Rego Park are included in the next phase of expansion. However, the omission of FH south of the LIRR gives off the impression that Holden and Ariola were at play to fend off CitiBike.

The City Council wants to give the NYPD more power to harass New Yorkers.

They're hearing a bill next month that would give the NYPD a new tool to stop anyone riding a bike – whether or not they’ve broken the law.

Sharing a photo from the Forest Hills Green Team Daffodil Planting event on Metropolitan. On Sunday we picked up trash with AM Andrew Hevesi's office and then planted some bulbs with FHGT and Rachel from Aigner's Chocolate & Metro Village Merchant Association.
