The weeks of performative “resistance” from those in my party were limited to undignified antics.
Voting to shut the government down will punish millions or risk a recession.

I believe it's even more concerning. Trump didn't secure a majority; he narrowly won. Yet, this is the situation we find ourselves in!
Perhaps the most depressing part about the last couple of months is that every awful shitty thing that’s happening to this country is self-induced. People asked for this. None of it had to happen.
