I've wanted to draw a Final Fantasy Tactics poster for years - probably close to a decade, but haven't had a good reason. The re-release (which is a total blast) is the reason I've been waiting for! Still coloring this, and more thoughts soon.

I want to start these as affordable as possible, so starting the bid at $25, and I'll run the auction for a week. Bear with me as I'm testing out the plugin on the site. Beyond that, happy bidding! If this goes well I'll get another one up next week! 3/3

Here's the thought process - you get art and the world gets a teency bit better. The charity for this one will be Action Against Hunger - with the US' humanitarian aid programs being cut, the world has lost a source of aid for food, shelter and relief during times of crisis. 2/3

Wanted to try two new things: 1) Going back to traditional on a larger scale canvas (on a different medium) to 2) see if you'd like this roughly 18x24" piece on your wall while supporting charity.

If it helps, and I think about this constantly, MASH ROOM was five people, and one of them (Satoshi Takabatake) is a grandmaster who designed a lot of the super technical backgrounds.

Having a blast diving into the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster. I first played it when I was 10 or so, and it was complex, but really rewarding. Running back through it, the story is still as compelling as it ever was. Might take me a bit, but I've wanted to draw some FFT for years!

No you absolutely do, it's imperative!

The interviews really show how on the cutting edge of culture and experimental early pioneers were. It kind of reminds you how raw and punk 90s stuff was, as well as the players in the industry. It’s great stuff!

Yes but can I enlist you to hold the camera? Jk-dude, if you haven’t checked them out yet, Animeigo has a fantastic interview series on their channel about how anime got licensed and hit the US.

If I did youtube essays in untapped niches, here's a few that'd be awesome:

My buddy Max Brown's new album hit today - I've been a fan of his for over a decade now, since I first saw him and his band play at SXSW forever ago.

If you like passionate piano ballads telling epic tales, you'll love this album!

It's everything you'd hope it'd be, but I wish it were multi-episode!

This scratched my brain so hard. I discovered Otomo's other books by just thumbing through every book at every Book Off I could during my time as an exchange student, and hearing little insights into his mental calculus help cement his genius in the medium: www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/...

I'm coining this term here and now, but when you edit a video for so long you can no longer wrap your head around what's there will henceforth be called "showblindness".

Sneak peak of one of my favorite Whitewall pages. I've got three issues done and have started building the Kickstarter for the first issue.

For the impatient, I've been posting the book and its progress (along with all my other books and their progress) up on P A T R E O N.

The DeviantArt era has loads of amazing stuff. In framing stuff for the wall, I found a Happy Birthday image, I already had a Spiderman up, I've got that amazing Batman you drew I need to get on the wall, and I have a smaller Batman too, as well as a few others. I'm spoiled for choices!
