jeez, i was cooking steak and the garlic blew up. a piece of hot garlic shrapnel hit my belly button and actually took a little piece of skin off. finger crossed it won't bubble up.

my son got a free babyccino from the staff at the singapore zoo starbucks. made his day. it was relaxing when we got there early in the morning, but when we went back around noon, it was mobbed. no way i was waiting in that line for a coffee mug.
