I really do think, at the end of the day, all this whole thing will expose is that a large amount of Americans are perfectly okay with pedophilia as long as their guy is the one doing it.

Not a PC gamer, but I want this.
Valve is making a console. The Steam Machine, a sleek box with the guts of a mid-range PC that runs SteamOS, will arrive in early 2026. Prices TBD, but unlike the failed Steam Machine initiative from a decade ago, this is Valve's own device. Big news www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Looking back, I’m surprised to see that my first issue of Star Wars Insider was #23 in 1994, the first issue with the SWI name after they changed it from Lucasfilm Fan Club.
I second Jordan’s sentiment. Insider was a pillar of my fandom from the early 90s through the prequels, and it truly is sad to see it go (if somewhat understandable given the magazine industry these days).
Oh man, what an incredible bummer! So much of my early days as a fan can be attributed to Star Wars Insider. Growing up without internet (or even a computer in the house until the early 00s) it was my primary connection to the larger fandom. Truly an end of an era. www.starwars.com/news/star-wa...

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

*If all goes by the regular schedule

I think the important lesson to take from the Tea Party/MAGA over the last two decades is that it makes more sense to take over a political party than it does to split off and create a new one.

Threaten to primary every Democratic seat you can and then follow through.

At this point, I’m canceling all of my streaming services and action figure preorders with the reason given: “Can’t afford it with Republicans in office.”

Looking to cut costs across the board to stop supporting major corporations (as much as possible) that are rigging a system against us.
