The Ryder Cup would be a great watch if it wasn’t for the crowd. They make it unbearable 🙁

At the start of the year I set myself a target to go out running 100 times. Generally only 5k each run but I have gone out consistently, stayed injury free and avoided illness. Tonight was my 100th run and it feels good to reach my target in September. Just need to keep going now 😁

Enjoyable day walking in the Lake District with my youngest on Saturday. It was a long day walking but some great views and so nice to be out on the fells 😁

Had a nice walk up Causey Pike this morning. A few of the higher fells obscured by cloud, but some breathtaking views nonetheless. A comfortable walk and feeling much fitter after 12 months of running and healthier eating 😊

I’ve never read or watched anything written by Jane Austin, but really enjoyed Pride and Prejudice at Theatre by the Lake tonight. Brilliant cast and performance made for a very enjoyable night out 🎭

Villages by the Sea is at Runswick Bay tonight. Just burst out laughing at Ben Robinson referring to a headland with some caves called ‘Randy Bell End’. Someone with a filthy sense of humour picked that one 😂

Lovely sunny day yesterday at Sewerby Parkrun with my eldest son Lewis. Set off downhill and a little fast so I was hanging on at the end especially on the uphill sections, but a really nice course with some great views and a coffee at the finish 😀

Over on the east coast at Sewerby. Beautiful coastline to walk along and blue sky and sunshine all day. Finished the day with a 5k run into Bridlington and back along the coastal path. A very peaceful and relaxed day😁

Great to get an away win on the final day of the season. Well played Tranmere. It may be a lot of superstitious nonsense but Tranmere results on the days I have completed Parkrun are wwdwdww 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m gonna use that as motivation to start well before March next year! #swa

Beautiful sunny day for a busy Warrington Parkrun this morning. Loving setting little targets on the way round and chasing down other runners. It really helps me push myself and is making me fitter. Great way to start the weekend and just need Tranmere Rovers to do their thing this afternoon now 😁

Great Tranmere performance today. All I’m saying is I did Parkrun again this morning and Tranmere followed up with the 3 points. Happy to try to keep the run going next week #swa

Really enjoyed Warrington Parkrun this morning. I normally set out to just enjoy the run but it’s amazing how competitive it makes me feel. Always someone ahead to chase down and helps me to push myself harder than if I was running alone. Great for my fitness and wellbeing #parkrun

Tranmere won both games after my first two Park runs. So today I got up early to do my third. Over to you fellas, another 3 points would be great 😊 #swa

After my debut last week, today I did my second ever Park Run in Warrington. Both outings have coincided with Tranmere winning in the afternoon. I’m now going to have to run every week until the end of the season, as after a dismal season of League 2 football I am convinced the two are connected! 🏃

Did my first ever Parkrun this morning. Really well organised and an absolute joy running with about 400 other people. I set off near the back, and was surprised how much enjoyment I got from overtaking other runners to finish in just under 30 mins in the middle of the pack #parkrun

Today’s early kickoff gave me a chance to spend some time in the sun at West Kirby. A welcome bit of tranquility on the oblong of dreams 😁

Trying to continue the New Year health kick despite the cold weather. A slow and careful run out today in the ice and snow. A big contrast to running in Rhodes at the back end of October when it was 26 degrees.

If the Tranmere v Accrington game had not been postponed today, I’d probably have missed the start due to the grid locked roads around Cheshire Oaks. I sometimes question my own sanity travelling to home games, but why would anyone want to queue for hours buy more stuff the day after Christmas 🤪

A top night out in New Brighton watching Alternative Radio. Rob Fennah taught me to play guitar when I was 14 to 16. Still a very talented musician alongside his brother Alan. Top show fellas 😀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Much better from Tranmere today. Plenty of fight and looked more of a threat, albeit against another struggling team. Jennings was back at his best today and was brilliant in pulling the ball down and playing Patrick in for the second. It certainly makes the weekend a lot more enjoyable #swa

Enjoyed my 5k run this morning around the local business park through the autumn leaves, but it’s a big contrast from the Rhodes sunset after my runs on holiday in October.

My highest was last year £1300..
But any amount is worth saving someone you don't know.. we all know that someone who has gone through terrible times or even passed away..
So I'm happy to play a little part by growing a moustache and looking a little silly too..🙂🤣🤣👍
