That is to say, an outrageous maddening joy
Bugonia is exactly the film you expect it to be once you find out who is in it and who is directing it

This is such an amazing photograph. It really captures the essence of this family and their unique place in Irish society.

And people say the British press doesn't know anything about Ireland. They got this scoop, didn't they.
This is now my third time in NYC and it has taken me the longest of any of my stays to remember why people come to Manhattan to have mental breakdowns.

Glad to be going home tomorrow evening, I’ve probably got 36 more hours left in the tank.

Forgive me, Chicago, I was not aware of your game
Look, the jewels being stolen from the Louvre is obviously not good.

But also.

It’s nice to see a good old fashioned heist rather than crypto malware or whatever. It’s good to see the craft survives.

This morning my ChatGPT quota was inexplicably exhausted.

It took a while but I pieced it together. Voice mode somehow got activated when I went to bed.

The bot then engaged in a 10 hour conversation with my snoring dog, answering questions the pup wasn’t asking and praising him for his insight.

Heather Humphreys on the News at One asked about her government's failings on issues like housing.

She points to what they inherited in the construction sector and the economy.

Unrelated: She has thanked Bertie Ahern, Mary Coughlan and Mary Harney for their endorsements since yesterday.

It is genuinely unbelievable to me that, for all the fanfare that was made in March, the govt. have been absolutely radio silent on this significant change, and probably were hoping it would go completely under the radar, and it's only for me constantly emailing them that anyone even knows about it.

On the one hand, it's quite nice to be proved right. On the other hand, that's 6000 companies due to report who now I have to catalogue or else the data is lost forever because the govt., once again, have failed to deliver on a promise...

"I would smear the bejaysus out of her, simply because you've nothing to lose... you've got to create a fear... in my experience, nothing works like negative campaigning."

They're really openly saying the quiet part out loud now aren't they...🤔

Unfortunately for Jim Gavin, across all codes and creeds there are simply very few charges more universally sympathetic than "my ex-landlord owes me thousands of euro"

10 people are killed or seriously injured every week while walking or cycling in Irish roads .

An 18 month delay will see 780 deaths and serious injuries. We know that we could prevent at least 200 of those by reducing speed limits but this government refuses to act.

The response from the Minister's representative at yesterday's meeting in Leinster House was shocking.

It's very clear that this government is not taking road safety seriously and people will die as a result.
