I’m a journalist who has covered terrorism, murder, conflict, extremism, crime & horror for more than 30 years, and I had to stop reading the news this morning. It was just too inhuman, sadistic and cruel to bear in one go. What have we done to ourselves & the world for pity’s sake? We are monsters.
