The benefice will gather for the patronal festival at All Saints', Coddington on Sunday at 10.00am. (There is no service in Colwall). Its always lovely when the church congregations meet and share communion together.

Yesterday in the church calendar we celebrated Simon the Zealot & Jude Thaddaeus: the “quiet” Apostles. Preached east, died together, remembered together.
Today is the Feast Day of St Crispin & St Crispinian. Join us in St Crispin's Chapel at 6.00pm for our Eucharist. (And Thai Rama afterwards for dinner if you wish)
Our next Men's Breakfast is all about drains! No, really! Colin Fenn will give a brilliant talk. Let Revd Andrew know if you wish to attend - [email protected]
Join us tomorrow morning as we continue to pray for peace in the world.

Do you like singing hymns? We're looking for a small group of people to join the clergy at Evendine Nursing Home to sing some hymns. We go on the second Thursday of the month. We're not looking for accomplished performers - just confidence and enthusiasm! Email [email protected]
We welcome new members into the family of Christ on Sunday with baptisms at the 10am service and later in the afternoon.

A huge thank you to the Hereford Gilbert & Sullivan Society for their joyful concert yesterday afternoon. The concert was in aid of our re-ordering project. If you don't know what we're doing you can read about it here - https://www.colwallchurch.org/blog1/st-james-servery
This afternoon's concert! Come and join us. Tickets available on the door. Refreshments provided.
Today we remember St Luke the Evangelist — physician, historian, and friend of Paul. His Gospel gives us a Jesus who heals the broken, lifts the poor, and makes room at the table for outsiders.Luke reminds us that God’s mercy moves toward those the world overlooks.
On Friday next week, Colwall Mothers Union are holding a coffee morning in the Ale House. If you can offer to bake a cake please let Lynn Sparkes know.
The new Ale House website is generating lots of interest. It's such a great venue for social gatherings. Have a look at https://www.colwallalehouse.org.uk

Revd Andrew is talking to the pupils of the primary school about the Ten Lepers. Only one, a foreigner, returned to thank Jesus for curing him. The story exudes different messages of thankfulness.
Thank you to those who attended our Away Day at Holland House on Friday. We covered quite a bit of theology with Steve Hollinghurst which gives us a starting point for the practical steps we now need to take. You can explore more at https://www.inclusive-church.org
