You "HAD" them on the run. 8 Democrat Senators caved. And we got nothing.

You should resign your role @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social
Republicans failed to lower the high cost of living.

We have them on the run because they refuse to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

The extremists were crushed on Election Day.

Now they Big Mad.

Morning the "smell of onions and mustard" sounds like a 30yo who still orders chicken fingers and buttered noodles when out to eat.
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."

Sure would be a shame if the UK government "accidentally" leaked info about US govt official. A real shame.

Trump's style will forever be "what if Uday Hussein ran a Ramada Inn," as @kenwhite.bsky.social described it, a cluttered mess of generic tacky designs covered in gold leaf, simultaneously piggish and cheap.
we are witnessing a genuine decline in the taste of american elites

Didn't that use to be called appeasement?
nearly all these columns are like “well, you’ve got to make some compromises. meanwhile a quarter century of compromising and ceding ground is why we’re here. compromising with fascism has never worked.

Imagine if Crazy Eddie's was still in business. After a strikeout, you'd get his "Insane!"
It amuses me to no end that many non-New Yorkers are unaware that obnoxious whistle sound is part of a local company’s ad jingle and believe it’s something the Yankees invented independently to annoyingly play after strikeouts
Yankees fans eyes rolling completely back and turning black, heads tilting backwards at an impossible angle, and their jaws opening and opening horribly like a shark's as they all emit the PC Richard Whistle Sound as one.

Straight to jail:

- Stephen Miller
- Hegseth
- Noem
- Homan
- Bondi

Just for these ICE attacks, just for starters. Plenty more should follow.

Prosecuting Trump - if he doesn’t croak in office - is harder thanks to fascist SCOTUS (most of whom should be impeached). But state courts can do it.

When the TX National Guard (or any state other than Illinois) shows up in IL, doesn't the local NG Commander have command and control responsibility within their state? Wouldn't the Governor direct ** Major General Rodney Boyd?

When the Texas NG arrives in Oregon or Illinois, don't they fall under the direction of the local NG Commander? That is, the Oregon and Illinois governors.
You can, but it’s a helluva way to find out how much less tough than they think Texans really are
You cannot simply walk into Oregon and Illinois with 400 Texans.

My favorite part about being a sports fan when your team loses is trying to figure out how this is specifically YOUR fault. Bought the wrong postseason shirt? Didn't pick the right game beverage? Sat when you should've been pacing? Wrong wrong wrong... why couldn't you have been better?!

I think we’re really going to have to do a lot more of this. A massive deprogramming so that people can read more than ten words at a time without anxiety.
