I’m working in the UK thx to a similar visa to H1B, I found the visa fee already too much. 100k ??? That’s just insane
Those on an H1B cannot return to the US from tomorrow (Sunday) unless paying $100K. This is an out-of-the blue presidential action. We’ll see software engineers stranded abroad.

One easy to predict outcome: those on US visas will travel less… for work, for conferences etc.

React is kinda at a point where it’s competing with itself. You can build a good app using React patterns from 2016 without fiber. Or you can build a great app using patterns from 2025. Most who are not using a framework are still doing 2016.

Really like these kind of articles : kdy1.dev/en/blog/post...

When the author as an idea - doesn't have time to build a whole project around it but still develops the design of it. Love it !

I'm taking a quick break on Tonnerre\.rs because I'm working on an OSS contribution for a friend's project that is getting hype (github.com/ferriskey/fe... to not quote him).

It will be my first time integrating in the real world what I learnt theorically at school and on my spare time !!!

Just stumbled across a great article about reproducing an exploit showed in Matrix Reloaded.

TLDR : the guy exploits a buffer overflow to hack ssh (the exploit was found in 2001)

As a zoomer that grew up with matrix this is so cool (just discovered sshnuke today)
