Yes, this is where we are: amidst a series of tipping points, all capable of unleashing different lethal domino effects.

The big and ongoing unknown is what order they'll occur in.

Many ways to skin a cat, many possible pathways to destroy a biosphere.
Joined: great, welcome.

Helping out: even better!

The movement is thriving on energy, and action is the healthiest thing we can do with our rage or despair.
I recently joined and am helping out. Folks couldn’t be more welcoming. Come be a part of something good!
"Polanski has blended anger with hope.

“Hope is much more difficult to sell than outrage, but he’s finding a way to do it that connects with people.”

Let's make hope normal again!

Brings to mind the old west country game of door-settee, usually played in the sitting room. One player tries to make the other touch the door, who tries to make them touch the settee. The game originated surprisingly not in Dorset, but Wiltshire.

The money for climate action, nature protection and public goods is there, it’s just in the wrong hands.

We urge governments to #TaxTheSuperRich and support fair global tax rules to protect the future of people and the planet.

Are you done watching billionaires hoard wealth and power while the world drowns in growing inequality and climate chaos?

Social justice = climate justice

Climate justice = social justice
Reminder: a person in the RICHEST 0.1 percent causes more carbon pollution in one DAY than someone in the BOTTOM 50 percent does in a whole YEAR.

The high carbon lifestyles of the super rich are burning through the world’s remaining carbon budget and costing us our future.

It has been astonishing to experience first hand how badly the Home Office mismanages asylum seeker accommodation. Wealden District Council has written to the Minister to make clear our dissatisfaction. (1/2)

I knew Gill and Farage and the rest of the UKIP crew in the European Parliament

They were crooks and shysters to a man

They repeated Putin talking points and appeared on Russia Today

UKIP then and Reform now are both a threat to our democracy

How did a former Mormon bishop end up pleading guilty to taking bribes to make statements in favour of Russia in the European parliament?

Don’t forget you have one week (in the UK) before LinkedIn starts quietly using ALL of your visible content to train AI.

It's unsurprisingly an Opt Out system so most users will be blithely unaware.

The relevant toggle is in Settings - privacy and data. You know what to do.

Reminder: Here's what Nigel Farage tried to take away from you this week...
So many forks, so many sighs...
Still worth doing... more so than ever. The balance is shifting.
Farage is flagging.

He’s losing councillors and by-elections, and his polling’s plateaued.

But we all need to fight him harder. A month ago I wrote this blog about 10 things you can do to help defeat Farage - keep doing them, it’s working! -

I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.

So I wrote a blog about ten things you can do *right now* to help defeat Farage, Musk, and rightwing populism.

From scrutinising Reform councillors to demanding the UK Govt leave X - get involved:

With a few notable exceptions...
This is what politicians and media invariably get wrong.

It's peak something that I'm listening to this pod on a Friday night with BBC2 Gardeners World sound turned down!

Oh, and my dog Ottie jumps about every time she hears Hasans sonorous voice.

Sorry @zackpolanski.bsky.social she's real calm when you're on!

Here's our wise, articulate deputy leader of the Green Party, Rachel Millward. Always good to hear from her.
Here's a clip from when I spoke to the Northern Rose at Green Party Conference about how I got involved in politics and how the Greens aim to address inequality.
