Sharing this… The attack on women working outside the home, to return to the more “traditional” housewife/child rearing roles seems to be escalating from harassment to outright violence. Working is a choice for some women, a necessity for others.

Crime rates in most categories are down in DC and overall crime rates are also down. Of course there’s still room to bring things down even further, but NG troops walking around w/or w/out rifles strapped across their chests ain’t it.

Always liked Scott MacFarlane when he was a local reporter here in DC. Old school, straight forward reporting of facts exactly as they are (a la Cronkite, et all) without “flash” or comment. You could trust the accuracy of his reporting.
