Next in the Gem Dragon illustrations I did for Dungeons & Dragons The Book of Dragons is my favorite. You may have noticed the somewhat controversial design feature but instead of cowardly ‘fixing’ it, I leaned all the way in.

This is dragon 2 of 5
Topaz dragon illustration design sheet I painted. I know the wings are going to take some adjusting to so bear these words in mind: it also has floating crystals; it’s a magic man.

Been a wild few years of DMing, it made me a better storyteller, artists, and in general improved my project planning skills and time management.
