So I'm going through my Bandcamp collection and selecting favorite tracks/writing blurbs for basically everything.

It's a lengthy list, but I'm starting with Remute and Kayla Painter. Then we'll move on to the cassettes from Timeslave Recordings, then the stuff from Liquicity.

Some news:
1) obtained 100 used minidiscs - keeping 6 as-is, mailing 1 wtf one to my fiancee's buddy, 92 will be wiped and reused here; 10 already have been
2) obtained a case (10x 10-pack/100 discs) of 3" CD-Rs in jewel cases
3) MiniDisc Factory™️ is running in a Win2K VM. It works.

I got 'The fall' by Sonic Spells (linked here) and am now off to buy the full album. Love the sound of this track.

Timecop 1983's Journeys is currently helping me through an uneventful (professionally speaking, at least,) Friday afternoon.

Totally dig the Sega packaging and SMS-themed cassette case/J-cards in the Masters of Outrun box sets. Still unsure if I put the big box with my Sega games or music tho lol

Just casually hooking my Atari Jaguar to my stereo to play Remute's There Is Hope. Definitely worth the effort - Virus is my fav track so far, but that's subject to change as we finish the album.

I have Digital Bubblebath in right now to help with my workday - really enjoying it. Back to the Carpet goes on my list of 'notable mention' songs.

Can't wait for There Is Hope and Unity (for GBA) to arrive in several days!

Picked up a copy of this from @asianmanrecords.bsky.social earlier this year and cannot recommend it enough. The entire record, both sides. Buy it. Listen to it. Though I've linked to AMR's website here, I believe this is available on Bandcamp as well.

I manged to pick this up before it sold out to add to my growing stack of Remute minidiscs. I only picked up, oh, everything he had in print or reprinted 😅

It was a good year, from a minidisc purchasing perspective.

Obligatory, "not a record, but..." the minidisc copies of this are just gorgeous.

Standout tracks, for me, are You're All I've Got, Stay In My Sight, and Excuses. Definitely worth opening a tab and checking this out on Bandcamp.

I've ordered this, too. Hard to pick a fav track, but Silver Screen Cruising and '85 Again (w/ Miss K) get special mention.

Cannot wait to pop this in the tape deck when it arrives :)

My physical copy is still in transit, but my fav track from streaming the album is Never Lose It.

Can't wait to dust off my Atari Jaguar and pick up a copy of There Is Hope next.
