All of this talk from writers about studio notes reminded me of Whale Rider. The absolutely outstanding and very excellent Whale Rider has an R rating because of one split second shot of a weed pipe. Less than a second and the connotation is that he's trying to hide it because it's bad/shameful.

My father's birthday was today. 78 years old. He's in the end stages of kidney failure and we are taking every moment we can. He became a big nerd all on his own when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 came out and has not missed a Marvel property since. He's seen more than I have.
