Homeless mentally disabled author. I was married to my late husband for 12 years. I’m HIV+ and faithful to his memory. Mostly vegan, but I don’t turn down mutual aid. I cycle across California, recycling and writing. Please read my books and blog. Thanks.
Half a roll of Hostess Donettes in the gutter, ruined by sprinkler runoff. Perfectly good food drowned so a lawn could live. That’s capitalism in miniature.

Down to nine percent battery, but I’m good. This thing doesn’t own me anymore. I move toward the bag like I planned it—because I did. Catch you on the other side.

My speaker just died. No more music until I reach my guy with the solar-charged marine battery. It’s not just power—it’s independence from the plug.

Might do the full Stockdale loop: reclaim my way to my guy with the marine battery, sleep on the island, then reclaim my way back tomorrow. Ends at a recycling center. Urban autonomy in motion.

Both my nicotine vapes are dead, so I’m smoking the pack of cigars a guy gave me after I gave him my shirt. That’s not charity—that’s the circulation of need.

A few hits of shit. A Rockstar. A shady bridge. Brain’s online again. Time to flesh out Organic 2.0—the politics of nutrition for the discarded.

Not high, not spun. Just sharper. More aware. Enough energy to walk to the recycling center and grab caffeine to finish the arc. That’s not a party—it’s precision.

I’m not a crisis. I’m a survival pattern. You just haven’t learned to read it yet. #PrefigurativeLiving

My wagon fell apart last week. Today I found a shopping cart with no proximity lock. It’s not theft—it’s reparations. #StreetInfrastructure #ReclaimedLogistics

Feasted from the dead zones again. Today’s total: taquitos, coffee, cookies, reclaimed dignity.

Clean Enough
I didn’t stop using. I just stopped falling apart. That might not sound like a success story to a detox center or a therapist, but it’s the truth of my life right now. I still use meth daily—…

Where's my online presence?
I have lost access to many of my social media accounts and have ethical misgivings about some, as well. As I figure that out, find my books and searching "Gregg Booney books". Both will be rewritten soon, but I'm keeping the originals. I lost access to delete them.

Back to the grind. I took a little break from activism and traveling to enjoy half a year as a hopeless meth addict. Now, clean again (California clean, anyways. I still smoke weed), I'm hitching to San Luis Obispo this week

New phone, New bike, New city. A year in Bakersfield is too much. Too many hate words, too many so-called Christians, and too many drug dealers. I'm off to the bay area on Wednesday morning.

I’m listening to Murray Bookchin’s Social Ecology and I’m tantalized by his concept of dialectical reasoning, which includes what an entity was and will become with what it currently is into a more whole definition of the entity. I had to turn the audiobook off. Too much to think about.

It looks like they shut down the flow of the river upstream. The water people do that. It’s annoying. Good thing I washed my clothes earlier.

Labor Day is a misdirection to keep Americans from celebrating May Day, while encouraging pointless activities like Picnics and Barbecues. It has nothing to do with the labor movement.
Was curious about what Americans do on Labor Day. So I asked Professor Google. Collage making more popular than I envisaged, apparently, when you’re taking time off from your community service projects. No wonder you need a backyard movie night to wind down after.

I’m getting my disability check in 45 minutes. I have to spend a good portion of it on yet another solar panel. Over the past 5 months, since I made the commitment to use only self-generated power to ensure it’s sustainability, this will be the third panel I’ve had to buy. Ugh, new tech.
