But before I lock myself up, I'm looking forward to seeing you all at Unwrap in Kortrijk or GPC in Breda!
Death Standing 2, Battlefield 6, Ghost of Yotei, Outer Worlds 2 & Chrono Cross, that's my wintertainment sorted. See you on the other side! #hermitmode
My favourite AI BS part at KIKK festival:

"We made sure there were no copyright or ethical problems with our model"

*proceeds to generate the Ghostbusters logo in 3D*
I'm expecting an accompanying paper on glints!
Not at all, thought it was very balanced :)
Very cathartic talk, thank you @roberthodgin.bsky.social
A journey through art, ai and existentialism from @roberthodgin.bsky.social at Kikk Festival, taking in the highs, lows and above all, utterly mesmerising creations from the master of design-led simulations 🫡. #kikk #kikk25

Very excited to present a few interesting bits about the rendering of #DOOM: The Dark Ages together with @domlaz.bsky.social and @martinfuller.bsky.social .
If you happen to attend #GPC2025 next month, feel free to say hello!

I still have so much love for Final Fantasy VI. Everyone involved was firing on all cylinders. Play the Pixel Remaster if you haven't yet, finally no more need for SNES emulators!

Are you or someone you know skipping GDC (or considering doing so) because of worries about coming to the US/San Francisco in the current environment?

If so, I want to hear from you for a piece. DM me here or kyle DOT orland AT arstechnica DOT com.

Please spread the word

A man in Washington, DC, plays the Imperial March from Star Wars while following patrolling soldiers. One of the soldiers threatens to call the police.
I always try to convince my clients to add some personal challenges "it will look cooler if it works!" No point hiring me if you just want an implementation robot 😅
When I first played Heretic as a kid, being able to look up and down blew my mind. Playing the re-release, I see how simple the trick actually was 😅
What would happen if a public transport company was given a monopoly and was allowed to charge per hour instead of by distance? Right. Welcome to Belgium.
