I’ll admit it. Generative AI actually did something good.
It made me fall even MORE in love with photography.
While everyone’s busy drooling over the digital equivalent of jangling keys in front of a baby, it reminded me how powerful real images still are.

No amount of hashtags or social media gurus can replace the discipline of showing up. A photograph either carries weight or it doesn’t. You can’t force people to care.

And yes, keep boycotting. I’m all for it. I just don’t buy that they put Jimmy back on air because of those boycotts. The numbers don’t support that.

The math ain’t mathing. CEOs aren’t clueless — when they canceled Jimmy, the stock loss was already baked into the decision. They knew backlash was coming, they knew billions would vanish. And $4B is pocket change for Disney. Their market cap can swing that much in a single day.
