What a wonderful little gal. People are finally learning that animals can be some of the greatest salve for sick, hurt and afraid. And given how silly anesthesia makes me, I'd be thrilled to wake up to a mini horse playing piano for me.

This reminds me of one of the guineas I had. His favorite was carrots but we also tried strawberries. One day I went to clean his cage and thought I saw a big lump of blood. I panicked but he wasn't harmed or bleeding. Turns out he had buried one of his half-chewed strawberries in the dust!
