Another pardon of a criminal based on a narcissist’s whims and enormous ego. No one seems to care but this happens with alarming frequency.
NEW: Trump on Wednesday quietly pardoned Paul Walczak, a healthcare executive sentenced just 2 weeks ago for tax crimes.

His mother & sister had played a role in an unrelated  scheme to publicize Ashley Biden’s stolen diary ahead of the 2020 election.

The pardon of Paul Walczak, who had been convicted of tax crimes, comes as the president uses clemency to reward allies and swipe at perceived enemies.

Really feel like I’m losing my mind: government OBVIOUSLY cannot punish an individual law firm for hiring someone it disfavors! It’s ludicrously unconstitutional and I feel like without a day of law school I could argue the case. And yet the best paid lawyers in the country are folding?

Good points here.
Everyone is wrong about why Dem "messaging" sucks. It's not that it's not "simple" enough, or that it's not focused enough on this or that. It's that they are not engaging in the politics of the day. They're floating above it. They don't respond to things, and when they do respond, it's boilerplate.

One of the most demoralizing things about our current situation is (as my friend put it) the Orbán-ification of the American media.
My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.
