Makes you wonder how many GOP representatives will be announcing retirement in the next few weeks.
Don't know the final results here but looking like maybe a 15 pt swing toward the Dems from 2024. You absolutely can't extrapolate a special election to a midterm. But that kind of flip in a special is a Defcon 1, we're all going to die type warning for the House GOP.

There needs to be consequences for publishing lies.
1) Bruce Harrell is mayor. Why is this article framing a problem as the responsibility of the mayor-elect, rather than the existing mayor?!
2) Wilson did not promise to "end sweeps." This is a lie. Printing lies is propaganda, not news.

Today I got deep into some ancestry sites on the Interwebs and learned that my Canadian ancestry goes back to a person born in Nova Scotia in 1707. 😳 He was a descendant of ship's captains serving the Massachusetts Bay Colonies since the early 1600s.

Big news! Today the Canadian Parliament passed Bill C-3 to amend the Citizenship Act to remove the one generation limit for passing citizenship by descent for those born outside of Canada. This means my kids and I are now considered Canadian citizens thanks to my grandfather being born in Canada.
