I'll try & stay up till 12:01 to open my gift, as that's the best time to open it in peace & quiet, so I can fully appreciate my gift (my 2 nosy kids *should* be fast asleep)

B) Those who open and post on Saturday the 7th daytime hours

Well what happened today in Parliament makes complete sense when you realize bullying and subjugating Māori was core tenet of the coalition agreement. Every policy every budget decision leads back to that.

A partisan majority forcing a matter of privilege with no support from across the house - when support *was* available if they'd been open to a very reasonable compromise - to impose a penalty orders of magnitude worse than anything the NZ Parliament has seen sets an incredibly grim precedent.

First I screamed "Fuck this government!!!" out my bedroom window after each of the suspensions were declared ... but then I signed up as a member of Te Pāti Māori, paid the $5 membership fee, and gave another $50 koha ❤️🤍🖤
