Lover of the woods, Phish⭕️, music in general. I have too many bikes but really, everyone should have a MTB, town bike, e-bike, cruiser, and several aging like fine wine in the basement.

Goodnight, loon
Goodnight, all those waiting for The News to come soon

Goodnight, "proof" of life
Goodnight, garbage wife

Goodnight, weird hand bruises
Goodnight, red hat losers

Goodnight, nobody
Goodnight, cow
And goodnight to the internet whispering "let it be now"

Democrats Will Fight Fire With Fire
Calling CA, OH and MN to help.
🚨TESTIMONY OF THE YEAR: A Texas voter just torched Donald Trump and Greg Abbott during a redistricting hearing - and it was BRUTAL:

“He cheated on the golf course…
He cheated on his taxes…
He cheated on his wives…
He cheated on democracy…”

But then came the mic drop 👇

It's simply amazing to me that the U.S. spent 70 years (1945-2015) constructing a post-WW2 military, economic, and social world order to its liking, only to turn around and decide it was actually the victim of this order the entire time.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

1/ A 🧵 to explain his plan and how we fight back.

Ideally the government protects the weak from the powerful, the minority from the mob, the peaceful from the violent, the honest worker from the thief. If there is one through line in the Trump/Musk regime’s dizzying array of terrible decisions, it’s that each of them helps predators do harm.

The new general counsel for OPM—the office issuing all those deranged memos—is Andrew Kloster, a self-described “raging misogynist” with a public history of racist comments and a temporary restraining order for domestic violence who most recently worked for Matt Gaetz.

CAT POEM

Most cats have floof
(including beneath)
With fiercely sharp claws
And pointy white teeth

They push things off tables
And like catnip treats
They have cute li'l beans
On their fuzzy small feets

They barf on the rug
And shred all your stuff
But a cat in my lap?
I can’t get enough

⚠️ In response to Musk changing the X algorithm to deboost negative content, people asked Grok what is considered “negative” and were told:

• Criticism of the government
• Commentary about misinformation
• Suggestion the public is being manipulated
• Attacks against powerful people or institutions

Going back to my previous call for starting a US Net Neutrality alliance.

My hope is that there is a US based alliance for every single progressive government entity Trump is planning to gut, god forbid he succeeds.

Just get something started so we can protect our citizens asap.

As always, I wish Americans liberals and centrists who happily decided all pro-Palestinian protests and protestors were inherently antisemitic and criminal would have, for once, thought about how they were falling into a trap set for them by the right.
But some of them went willingly.
I wrote about the “nonprofit killer” bill that got broad bipartisan support before Trump was elected & it was mostly being pitched as a way to attack pro-Palestine work

As ever, climate groups may find themselves on the losing end of foreign policy hawkishness newrepublic.com/article/1887...
The House Just Made it Easier to Target Climate Groups
A bill allowing the executive branch to strip nonprofit status from organizations offering “material support” to terrorists could easily be used to target political enemies—including environmentalists...

It only took Ron Desantis and Chris Rufo two years to wreck this once outstanding college. It was too woke. Had too many LBGT students. So they took it over and wrecked it while enriching their cronies along the way.
