Our society is suffering because of a simple, single error.
We have not distinguished between the fact of an utterance and an utterance itself as a fact.
The former are always true. The latter, not.
Thus, lies are reported as a duty by those and for those who want the truth.

Then you have the sensation of it being correct, even if it's wrong

Trouble is, if you move fast and break things and the thing you break is the thing in which you are moving fast, you've stopped moving, fast or otherwise, and are just breaking things.
