One thousand times, YES! So many of my projects work with AI, and I enjoy the engineering, but the end result is always so soulless.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGLN... I rather enjoyed this video on mapping the state space of this game. Now I'm interested in seeing the state space of other games. Chess? Go?

I'd go through digikey for something like this. They typically deliver the next day. Sometimes, same day. Looks like they have 11k RPi Pico's in stock. Also they carry Adafruit products so you can avoid duties.
I am conflicted at the Disneyification of NIN.
Is that where you can buy your crack?
I am partial to this raygun style approach to a sensor + USB cable that I designed. Hopefully the client approves.
Proof I can call my AI assistant an ass. Thanks for the long rabbit hole you mf.
This just destroyed me.

- Small note at the bottom of a tech doc. Days of pain.
There were more AI Notetakers than people in my last meeting. No longer authorizing my recording, this is bs.
Chatting with someone today and the conversation swung into territory that reminded me of Walter Kitundu's artworks. I take it as proof that the Eyeo Festival talks never age: vimeo.com/772227155?sh... This presentation, from the last day of Eyeo, is a gem.

Pedestrians are walking 15% faster and lingering less in public spaces in a study that compared 638 hours of video from 1980 to 2010. Social interactions down.

For the experiential industry, studies like this could greatly inform the value of an installation.

Using an animated FBX, sprinkle with 10k particles, and drop a T3D Fluid simulation makes for a really interesting visual output. Screenshots soon, having some scaling issues with the T3D volume. Add in MediaPipe for motion and I think we're gamin'.
Finally figured out how to perform real-time rigging of MediaPipe to TouchDesigner's skin deformation. The rigging of the default FBX humanoid doesn't match the MediaPipe control points so I may have to create a rigged humanoid in Blender. Paired with POPs I suspect I can animate real-time puppets.
Well, that's one for the books. My first implementation of a custom trained model in TouchDesigner. Now I need to figure out how to build my own Op.
Brought the car into the shop and they found an 8oz foam insert had come loose inside the tire which was causing a shake at highway speeds. Fixed, but now my wife is calling the the "Princess and the pea" of driving.
And I understand the principle of "swipe decks" when developing new exhibit concepts, but so many marketing concepts run dangerously close to artistic plagiarism. Its fascinating to think about the development of artistic concepts as a collective Latent Memory.
Haven't heard the term "Cryptomnesia" before, "This is a psychological term referring to the phenomenon called unconscious plagiarism or latent memory." This article offers some interesting ideas to identify artistic research, especially by Daito Manabe (scrapbox.io/artresearch/)
