I dunno but it seems like it undermines Disney’s future brand integrity/infringement claims when they’re paying OpenAI a billion dollars to let people make fan art and stream it on Disney+. Like NYT suing everyone while also licensing those same APIs for their newsroom. Pick a fucking lane.

Thanks to SAG-AFTRA negotiating actors and singers rights—during the 2023 strikes—against direct use of their performance and and likeness, at least they can only generate masked characters.
Disney has signed a deal with OpenAI & invested $1 billion into the company

Sora will now be able to AI generate videos based on animated, masked & creature characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar & Star Wars

Curated selections of AI generated videos will be released on Disney+

I think if they really dump AI content onto Disney+ they'll find out real quick that NOBODY wants to see that shit. But it's so symbolic of the state of things that the name that once meant the very peak of hand drawn animation is now in league with the stock market scam anti-human garbage machine.

Quite the day for Trump: The defeat below, the defeat in Indiana, the defeat on the latest Letitia James case, the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, really bad poll numbers (his handling of the economy numbers threatening to fall into the 20s) He's losing it politically as fast as he is mentally.
Say it again for the folks in the back: "The first time the House has voted to overturn a Trump executive order in this term." 🙌

This has largely been memory-holed but in Trump 1.0, he picked a big public trade fight with China. They retaliated by cutting off agriculture purchases, farmers got squeezed, Trump mailed them checks and had to go crawling back to Xi for a face-saving "deal".

Sound familiar?

Are you saying Jasmine Crockett should only be advocating for her Black constituents?

And if so, why wasn’t there any concern for her Black constituents when Abbott/Trump disenfranchised them by erasing their district?
