First revealed at Sony's State of Play, Konami has now confirmed that the the latest entry in the Castlevania series, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, is also bound for Switch. The 2D action-exploration game takes place 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. Developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin, there is no word on if a dedicated Switch 2 release is planned, but as of now, it seems it will only be playable on Nintendo's latest system through backwards compatibility. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is set for release in 2026.

I feel like we’ve hit a point where no one truly knows what a bad game looks like.
I grew up playing some bad licensed games with awful controls and janky boss fights made artificially difficult by the controls, or were just way too easy and boring. Those aren’t as common anymore so now average=bad
