Cancel culture was the inverse of blackballing.
Blackballing came from the top down. it was authoritarian and could be turned on and off like a switch by the people in power.

DHS is repelling from helicopters into apartment buildings to raid them and zip tie children in the middle of the night while saying "fuck them kids." They're shooting at people on the streets and lying about it.
