I have participated in bonfires on beaches in NS and NL since I was little; I didn’t ever see a backyard fire pit in person until I went to Saskatchewan. It seemed so wrong.

Growing up in Nova Scotia, the idea of flatland fields of grain and insanely high mountains making up “the prairies” was a stunning contradiction. If you were able to do a photo essay that highlighted that contrast, I feel like it would have country-wide implications. Thanks for asking for feedback.
