Just to let you know, most water companies are front-loading the bill increases for the large amount of investment being spent over the next 5 years. There will still be fairly chunky increases next year+, but not this level.
Found my latest bill and got to the bottom of it surprisingly quickly: although I'm using less of their product, Thames Water have jacked up their prices by over 40% and there's nothing we can do about it. Good process.

NOTHING will prepare you for this 45-second story arc. From "I'm just doing this because I love the flag, it's totally grassroots, and I'm not part of anything political"... to who actually gave him the flags the night before.

Anyone who believes it is an innocent movement needs to see this.

Amazing story: one of the organisers of the group putting Union Flags up around Manchester previously did time for being part of a people smuggling gang.

I've tried to be as cautious with the g-word as anyone can be, but it's been clear for months now that the Israeli government is, with Trump's blessing, intent on making Gaza uninhabitable for Palestinians and the international community basically having no response to it is mindboggling.
BBC NEWS / AFP / BBC NEWS / REUTERS JOINT STATEMENT:

“We are desperately concerned for our journalists in Gaza, who are increasingly unable to feed themselves and their families.

"They are now facing the same dire circumstances as those they are covering. "

From a fiery article in the Times of London. They shut down the Colosseum so JD could get a private tour. Everyone else who'd gotten tickets in advance was out of luck. So many layers contained in the passage about the irate Trump voter in the second graf. www.thetimes.com/world/europe...

All depends on whether they let the lawmakers in to vote against it I suppose. If they do, I'm sure he'll be binned off promptly. If he doesn't, are we in full on coup mode??
