I don’t know if Trump will succeed at building a full stop American dictatorship in the short term if the military meeting is any indication but I also quite frankly don’t see a world where the bad actors get prosecuted and the constitution gets amended (or overhauled) to stave off the worst

the fact that so many people frame autism as “a problem that needs to be solved” is a constant reminder that being “not normal” isn’t acceptable to a large amount of the world. it’s the same reason there’s a trans panic right now too. they think people are defective

one problem i can see on the horizon is like any junkie, the violence-addled american public needs harder and harder stuff to get off. shooting up a school doesn't get you noticed anymore. this proves you now have to pop a computer guy live on the computer to get noticed in today's media environment

Don’t see the direction America is going as anything other than more violence than less.

I’m so tired and exhausted with AI… I really resent what it has done to the discipline of programming and I don’t think fancy auto completion is worth all the other negative outcomes in the field, nevermind the obvious ethical issues outside of it
