the judge is specifically requesting "all documents relating to the indictment signer's participation in the grand jury proceedings, along with complete grand jury transcripts"
This is why they can't conceive of anyone at the "No Kings" rallies to be there for free, and why they keep telling the MAGA base that if this many people showed up, surely they must be getting paid by [insert non-MAGA rich person].
There's probably a good reason the judge overseeing both this case and the Comey case to determine if Lindsey Halligan was legally appointed is also asking to see Grand Jury transcripts.
It's almost like the career prosecutors who were asked to look into it declined to prosecute her for completely non-partisan lack-of-a-case reasons. Who could've guessed.
Oh great, the "peace president" is restarting nuclear proliferation.
For someone who REALLY wanted the Nobel preace prize, he's literally done NOTHING to foster peace, but everything to stoke new wars. From bombing Iran, to blowing up Venezualan fishermen, to now building more nukes.
I think it's slowly reaching a point where grand juries and judges will stop accepting charges unless there's actual bodycam footage from the officers showing actual law-breaking by protesters. Because thus far EVERY SINGLE ONE of these cases turned out to be the cops lying to justify their actions.
I pay about $60 per month for an underground garage unit in my appartment building, which I use as storage because street parking is still free for area residents.
What my garage, appartment building and street are missing is sufficient charging points for electric vehicles.
I suppose the gist of it remains on point: it's about coaxing people to live according to what they need.
It makes sense to tax a giant home more than a single bedroom house. So unless you're running a B&B (which would make it a business, I suppose?) I don't think this is a bad start.
Important to note it's called a "mansion" tax, not an "appartment" tax, a "cottage" tax or a "terraced" tax.
If a retired couple is living in a mostly empty 5 bedroom mansion, perhaps they SHOULD be encouraged to move into a smaller home so larger families can have a chance as well?
Apparently, food for newborns and the elderly is not an emergency, but making sure the military remains paid and loyal to the regime *IS*.
So he's just spending money on those things that ensure the government can remain closed down and the release of the Epstein files can keep getting postponed.
Who knew that talking sh*t about the person you're trying to prosecute in order to sway the public and any potential future juries ahead of trial would be illegal?
Almost as if people have been practicing law for centuries and have figured out various ways to make that process as fair as possible.
That still would not have stopped him from being re-elected. Half the country didn't care he was ALREADY a convicted felon, they didn't care about the indictments either, and between now and a few months, they won't even care he was a pedophile either.
THIS mess is the result o'f people having 'concerns about Kamala's potential stance on Israel, and seeming to think that not shouting about trans people 24/7 somehow means you're about to throw them under the bus.
Meanwhile, everyone KNEW the other guy was much worse, but ignored that reality.
Let's not forget, most of the delays were caused by other people, like senate republicans, privilege battles and the SCOTUS appeal that gave Trump the power of a king.
And down in Florida Canon having the slowest court EVER wasting 2 years without ever going to trial.
Well, sure, he got re-elected mere months after the Watergate break-in. But that's not the point. It still took congress 2 years to impeach him, as opposed to the two weeks it took to impeach Trump. Since they decided to wimp out and leave it to Garland, can you blame him for wanting to be thorough?
And the elections made it so he turned from a regular citizen into a guy with absolute immunity. That was not Garland's fault. That is on the American voters who just couldn't bring themselves to vote for [insert excuse here].
