Ten years ago this past spring, I stood before a beit din, answered questions with a nervous smile and a full heart, and then stepped into the mikveh. I joined the Jewish people with intention, with joy, and with a promise to live a Jewish life in a way that felt authentic to me.

There is a line in political discourse that no moral society should ever cross.

Such bullshit. Trump doesn’t need the House to vote to release the Epstein files. Trump could just order Pam Bondi to release the files. Tomorrow morning.
Trump now says House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files “because we have nothing to hide”

Yes, #Hamas must go—but that’s not the same as rejecting a #Palestinian state.

I understand why we shut down American airspace for a few days after 9-11 to avoid a repeat attack but imagine shutting down American airspace to avoid releasing the Epstein files.

It’s antisemitism, full stop. It’s not clever. It’s not strategic. It’s a festering mix of arrogance, ignorance, and insecurity wrapped up in one grotesque sentence.

Just finished up a blog post for @timesofisrael.com about my thoughts on the 30th anniversary of Rabin’s assassination. How as a 14 year old midwestern kid it was the first assassination to really affect me. I’ll share a link when it’s posted! I’m proud of it.

The always insufferable Andy Brehm with another amazing column this week www.startribune.com/tina-smith-s...
Brehm: Tim Pawlenty should reconsider and run for the U.S. Senate in 2026
The GOP candidate for Senate should be competitive next year. The former Minnesota governor would give Republicans our best shot at success, Andy Brehm writes.
