Kirk was notable for practicing anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-trans extremism, racism, and violent rhetoric.

And that incompetence goes all the way down. In the first administration there were people in place to stop him from acting in his worst instincts (somewhat). Those guardrails are gone.

This is what I’ve been most afraid of.
