Got the dryer fixed! I had 17 cents worth of change in the various plastic fins, and a very stubborn penny wedged between the drum and the rim. New dryer shopping averted! Life is grand!

My son has made me get out of my comfort zone many times over the years. Dryer repair is the latest such foray. Me: Did you put the entire hamper of wet clothes in the dryer? Didn't you hear the noise it was making? Son: I though it was the dishwasher?
