Sometimes just informing people that the sun is coming out and we are running out of shade and water, would get you accused of wanting to genocide all vampires.
Anger is a motivator that need to be directed towards something constructive like pushing to vote in someone who can and will bridge the material divide that divide us and put the anger to rest. When undirected will go down the destructive paths and breed more anger in a worsening cycle of violence.
What is an ocean but a multitude of drops. What is power but angry voices shouted from multitude of humans. Silencing the voices leads to a louder echo of anger. To not take the reign of the angry voices is to let someone else to take it.

Human are emotional creatures, it is evolutionary root of languages and civilizations. The angry and depressed will not hear your plead of logic. You must remove the root of anger first. Only when you bridge the divide between rich and poor, can logic bridge the divide of the nation, like FDR did.

Frank Herbert self described as a socialist and have clear leaning toward anarchic accelerationism. Paul and subsequent books can be read as cautionary tales against technocratic vanguard and central-planning with perfect information. Much like Orwell, both are anti-authoritarian socialist.
Paul Atreides was an Artificial Intelligence with perfect information after his awakening through water of life. It's just that science behind his creation was genetics instead of quantum mechanics. Herbert never shy away from saying #Dune being caution against AI technocracy.

Existential fear of death and non-existent is the root of all living beings and emotions. And we cope on different way. Denial seek salvation, bargaining seek power and immortality, depressed are detached seek pleasure, anger lashes out. To be human is to learn to manage and reach acceptance.

Human are not naturally democratic, but feudalistic. However what is natural is not necessary good by definition. For thermal nuclear bombs are here to stay and change the game. There were never a year in Europe where some Lord is not at war with another. There is no future if they had nuke.

What I have learnt today from the president is that having unprecedented success you should be rewarded with children to abuse. He is speaking the quiet part out loud. The upper class treats being put on the same moral standards as the rest of us like a punishment for their 'sucesses'.

Every victory is built upon failures that comes before and every failure set up the condition that can make the next effort a success. How many failed revolutions and social movements build the condition for the next and the next until the one that gives us the world we have now.

It is not the power itself that is corrupting, it is the fear of losing it that does. It's the shift in priority and the addiction comes with tasting it. This is only a psychological one and can be overcome with works and efforts.

Humans are not fundamentally good or bad, we are a product of our society. Much like all products we all have defects, their distribution create the arbitrary line that define good and bad. Society makes us and us repair society. The less hubris we bring in the process, less paradox, less defects.

Let there be no gods, no kings, no masters, for they draw the line that confine us, erect barrier that separate us, shackle us to their visions and convince us to abandon our own. But line can be cross, barrier can be toppled and chain shattered. One only need to know it can be done.
The solution to a bad king is not a good king, is the abolition of Monarchy.
